Three generations

Henri Valloton represents the third generation to head the family estate. It was founded in 1932 by his grandfather Oswald who was well inspired by acquiring plots at la Combe d’Enfer or at Planche-Billon. The output of the small holding is continued by his son André in 1957 and  will then become André Valloton & Fils in 1989. In 2000, André takes a well deserved retirement. Henri is left alone to lead the domain, his brother Peter having chosen a different direction. For simplicity reasons, the corporate name became, as of 2004, Henri Valloton, winemaker and producer.

1989

1991
The cellar is ready to welcome the 1991 harvest, in Mazembroz. In addition to the space reserved for winemaking and storage, a room that can accommodate twenty people is available to our customers for wine tastings or family celebrations.

2000

A change in the direction of the cellar takes place: André exercises his right to retire and, Peter having chosen another career orientation, it is Henri who takes in the reins of the family winery. From now on the official name is: Henri Valloton, succ. André Valloton & Fils.

2004

The last phase of the change brings about the simplification of the corporate name – being a logical consequence of events – which will then become Henri Valloton, wine producer-grower, 1926 Fully
